Chef Andrew Wong's celebrated two Michelin-starred dining experience arrives at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair this summer.

From 18 August for six weeks, A.Wong, the acclaimed restaurant of Chef Andrew Wong, will be in residence at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair bringing its celebrated two Michelin-starred dinner experience for a limited engagement.

 

Widely regarded as one of the UK's most influential chefs, Andrew Wong has led A.Wong since 2012, combining treasured family recipes with years of meticulous research into China's ancient culinary traditions and regional cooking techniques. His award-winning cuisine showcases the finest Chinese and British ingredients, celebrating the richness, diversity and depth of flavours found across China's vast gastronomic landscape.

 

During the residency, guests will have the rare opportunity to experience A.Wong's distinctive approach to Chinese cuisine in the elegant surroundings of Mandarin Oriental Mayfair. Each evening, the restaurant's signature two Michelin-starred dining experience will reflect Andrew's passion for heritage, craftsmanship and culinary discovery.

 

Dim Sum Lunch at Chef’s Table

 

From 26 August 2026, guests will be invited to experience lunch at A.Wong's Chef’s Table, an intimate daytime expression of his culinary philosophy.

 

Served Wednesday to Saturday, this exclusive lunch offering welcomes just 14 guests per service, creating a highly personal experience at the counter. Available for parties of one to six guests, lunch begins between 12:30pm and 1:15pm and centres around a meticulously crafted Dim Sum Set Menu.

 

Priced at GBP 220 per person, the menu is accompanied by a choice of thoughtfully curated wine, Champagne, non-alcoholic, or mixed pairings, all included.

 

For those wishing to explore a more rarefied selection, a Prestige Pairing is available for an additional GBP 150 per person. Reservations are now open.

 

While A.Wong is in residence, the restaurant's Pimlico home will be temporarily closed as it undergoes a thoughtful refresh. The team looks forward to welcoming guests to Mandarin Oriental Mayfair this summer before returning to Pimlico from 22 September 2026.
